ABOUT

Sarah and Lizzie Daykin were bound together at a young age by their love of comedy. Their dark sense of humour finally made it to the stage as twisted sister double-act Toby, described as “poles apart from the peppy revue offered elsewhere” (Fest). Their debut Edinburgh show was a word-of-mouth hit and after being picked up by leading producers The Invisible Dot, they went on to produce three more acclaimed shows for Pleasance Courtyard, Soho Theatre and Vaults festival.

They are Sunday Times Bestselling authors of the Mr Men For Grown Ups parody series and have written and performed for television shows including BBC Three’s Live at the Electric and CBBC’s Dick and Dom’s Funny Business, as well as starring regularly in radio, theatre and online.

They actively campaign for the equality of women in comedy and have developed TellHerVision - a mentoring scheme for an all women writers’ room led by BAFTA winner Joanna Scanlan, in association with ERA 50:50 and ScreenSkills.
